Skating Background- I skated competitively in  New York City in the 1960's.  For the last six years I have skated as an adult (Freestyle, Moves in the Field, Dance).   My freestyle and moves were mentored by Cecilia Leonard and dance by Roger Estey.  I am a member of the PSA for the  last two years and have completed the first step in the PSA rating process.  I  tested at the intermediate level in the 1960's but testing was quite different then.

Other Info-I hold a PhD in Biochemistry (1979) and have 25 years as a research scientist, most recently in Cancer Biology and Prenatal Diagnostics.  Ace certified fitness instructor for seven years.  I have an extensive background in exercise physiology as well as in dance.
