Cecilia Leonard

Residential History- I was born and raised in New York City.  I did most of my skating training and competition there.  During the summers I trained in Lake Placid.  At 17 I went to Colorado College in Colorado Springs and skated a the Broadmoor.  My graduate studies in Chemistry took me to Stockton and Santa Barbara California where I met my husband John.  In 1966 he took a job teaching math at the Univeristy of Arizona and we have lived in Tucson ever since.

Skating Background-
USFSA Tests- Gold Figure, freestyle, and dance.
Canadian Tests- Gold figure and freestyle.
Competitions- Considerable experience.  My achievements include 4th at the Eastern's for Junior and Senior Ladies and 2nd at the Middle Atlantic States for Senior  Ladies
Master rated member of the P.S.A.
33 years teaching experience.  I enjoy teaching at all levels.

Private Lesson Availability-  I am currently available for private lessons.

Other Info-Married to John for 36 years we have adopted one adopted daughter who is now 31.  Activities I enjoy are international folk dancing, ballet, and art.  I especially enjoy water color painting and drawing.  I love traveling and John and I travel whenever we can.
